To all the participants of our final showcase held Friday night, July 11th,
Thank you. Thank you for writing wonderful songs and thank you for trusting this initiative enough to share. Songwriting
is sometimes a very personal endeavour, especially when just starting out. It takes an act of courage to share your
thoughts and feelings with the world. So, thank you for your courage. I never imagined the turn out we had on
Friday, but I am ever so grateful, that a thought so small and so seemingly insignificant could provide some inspiration to
you all. Keep writing your songs, and dreaming your dreams. It's your journey and you owe it to yourself
to see it through, no matter what the outcome! And, remember to visit the library regularly on your journey.
